Das Ende von Google+ wurde schon mehrfach herausbeschworen und die letzte Umstrukturierung innerhalb Google könnte diese Gerüchte beflügeln. Doch das sehe ich anders. Googles No. 2 Sundar Pichai sagte in einem Internview mit Forbes am 26. Februar:

I think increasingly you’ll see us focus on communications [Hangouts], photos and the Google+ stream as three important areas, rather than being thought of as one area.

Das bedeutet für mich ganz klar, dass es Google+ weiter geben wird – nur in einer anderen Form. Vermutlich wird der Bereich Fotos herausgelöst, denn Bradley Horowitz verkündete am Montag, dass er den Bereich Photos und Streams übernehmen wird.

Es bleibt spannend.
